Jocelyn Serio-Miller is the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Back Bay Life Science Advisors. With nearly 30 years of executive-level integrated marketing and communication experience, she has worked with a wide variety of organizations at varying stages, with a specific emphasis on the healthcare sector.
Ms. Miller began her career in New York City working as an Assistant Managing Editor at Simon & Schuster and as a publicist for book publishers. Before joining Back Bay Life Science Advisors in 2018, she led accounts at Boston and New York-based public relations agencies, managing clients in technology, consumer B2B and healthcare and implementing PR campaigns for multi-national pharmaceutical clients and patient advocacy groups.
In her role as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Ms. Miller has experience in corporate communications, publicity, strategic program development and management, media relations, branding, thought leadership, special events and navigating sponsorships and targeted initiatives around brand launch and product indication.
At Back Bay, she is an experienced leader, manager and firm culture advocate and works closely with the firm's Nordic alliances, focusing on US-Nordic healthcare collaboration, innovation and growth.
