Trent Gordon
Senior Analyst
Trent Gordon is a senior analyst at Back Bay Life Science Advisors. He has extensive experience working in the oncology, metabolic, neurology, and rare disease spaces. His work spans strategy consulting and investment banking engagements to support biopharma and medtech clients across the life sciences industry. Mr. Gordon has supported a variety of engagements, which include portfolio planning and prioritization, lifecycle management strategy, pricing & market access, and supporting buy/sell side engagements.
Before joining Back Bay, Mr. Gordon served as a product engineer at Abbott Laboratories, where he played a role in the development of innovative point-of-care blood testing equipment. His focus included enhancing assay sensitivity for detecting cardiac troponin I levels and optimizing manufacturing scale-up processes.
Mr. Gordon graduated with a B.Eng in Biochemical Engineering and an MESc in Biomedical Engineering from Western University. His research has centered on pioneering novel polymer systems for drug delivery and tissue engineering applications.
