Cross-border growth for intelligence, capital and transformative innovation in healthcare
In October 2022, Back Bay Life Science Advisors was honored to host the Nordic Growth Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark.
We welcomed more than 130 people from organizations that positively advance life science development, including Novo Holdings, Mass General Brigham, BioInnovation Institute, Sofinnova Partners, Hogan Lovells, DNB, The Life Science Cluster, Cone Health, Goodwin, Medicon Valley Alliance and many others.
The Summit is a biennial event and we were fortunate to hold our very first in collaboration with our long-time partners at Innovation Centre Denmark Boston.
Alan Leventhal, the United States Ambassador to Denmark, commenced the gathering, with a reception at his home and some very wise words about the important work ahead.
The day was structured with high-level content regarding some of the critical issues impacting the healthcare ecosystem in the Nordic markets and around the world, with deep dives into areas of policy, medical system hurdles, adoption, technology and growth enablers for companies in the Nordic ecosystem.
Attendees included Nordic and US life science investors, public/private Nordic company management teams, entrepreneurs and policy makers interested in networking, collaboration and exploring an in-depth view of the issues that ultimately impact the day-to-day execution in driving Nordic-US life sciences collaboration forward.
Back Bay Life Science Advisors, a longtime leader in forging US-Nordic life science strategy and transactional activities, and Innovation Centre Denmark, whose mission is to build bridges between research institutions and tech companies in Denmark and the Boston area, thank everyone who participated in our first Nordic Growth Summit. It was heartwarming and inspiring to connect with so many friends and colleagues from the Nordics, Europe and the US.
We hope you will join us in 2024 for our next Nordic Growth Summit.
